This wonderful example of calcite from the Berry Materials Quarry in Indiana measures 6.5 x 6.5 x 5.5 cm. The calcite itself is about 2.2 cm across. It is perfectly formed and perfectly perched on its matrix. No damage at all, good luster and a pleasing color: light amber with a milky white interior. Not an uncommon specimen (many were found at the quarry), but this one is uncommonly nice.
