A multitude of rubellites, elbaites and albites cover one side of this quartz crystal. It tells me the quartz broke loose while the pocket was still crystallizes and when it fell to the bottom of the pocket, it picked up all kinds of debris. Debris including gem tourmaline! This piece is rehealed on every side. The quartz has great luster and nice clarity. There is a shallow, tiny, sub-millimeter ding at the very tip of the termination of the quartz that is only visible in good light from one side. cA very nice piece that measures 5.7 x 3.5 x 3.2 cm.
