This wonderful pyrite specimen is covered with unusually stout jamesonite crystals. It measures 8 x 5.5 x 4.5 cm. The color and shape of the jamesonites contrast nicely with the pyrite matrix. Jamesonite is often found in nearly hair-like crystals that are nearly uncollectable because of their fragility. The jamesonites on this piece are a different beast altogether.
