This specimen measures 3.8 x 3.9 x 1.8 cm. The lustrous brick red zunyite in the middle 11 mm along one edge. This is actually somewhat <u>large</u> for a zunyite. They are rare minerals, seldom found with collectible aesthetics. These new pieces from Iran define the species. The name comes from the Zuni mine in Colorado, where they were first found. No damage.
