This is a beautiful clay concretion from Vermont. I keep meaning to take the time to visit this locality: the shapes are wonderful. This one reminds me of a beetle or a plump tardigrade. It is a perfect hand specimen, measure 12.5 x 10 x 0.5 cm. There is a little chipping on the edges here and there, but it displays well.
