These small red, blocky crystals from Paksitan are always labelled as tantalites, but I\'m not sure if they have been analyzed or not. This is actually very red when backlit. It is not a perfect specimen, as the left side is contacted. But the termination is beautiful and the red color is much better than shown. It measures 2.7 x 2.2 x 1.7 cm.
