These freakish crystals of rhodochrosite from the friendly land to the north of Connecticut are twins. Most of them were collected by my friend Ernie Schlicter. This one probably was as well, as it came from the Petrelli collection and I am sure he knew Ernie. It is in great shape and a full thumbnail at 2.2 x 2.4 x 0.3 (!) cm. Super cool!
