COlonel Murta is much better known for its tourmalines than its amethysts. But who can deny this is wonderful purple quartz specimen it proper appreciation? There are clearly two separate growth phases on this piece: one generated the stems at the bottom and the other the scepter heads at the top. But there is more going on here than that, too. The scepter heads have reverse scepters on their tops. A lovely group of three: like the musketeers! 2.6 x 1.4 x 0.7 cm.
