This is the FINEST piece that has come from Area 51 in three plus years of digging. It measures 6.3 x 6.5 x 3.8 cm. There is one reattached crystal (I can\'t tell which one) but it is otherwise impeccable. The quartz crystals are super clear and super lustrous. The matrix of black druse mounds up a little in the middle which gives the piece excellent relief. This is really a spectacular piece. The largest quartz is about 2.2 cm tall and gem clear. In fact, every crystal is nearly gem clear. This piece is uncommon for its size, overall aesthetics, and condition. A wonderful, wonderful hand specimen.
