There must be a Virginia collector that wants to give this very nice prehnite a good home! This piece was collected by Connecticut collector Edward Caco many years ago. It comes with his old label. The prehnite glistens in the light because it is made up of a myriad of small prehnite crystals as opposed to the more usual botryoidal masses. It is a thin but strong plate with no damage. I don't know enough about the area to guess which mine it is from. Maybe someone does? There are very few prehnite specimens on mindat from Loudon County, Virginia. 7.5 x 5.5 x 1.7 cm
