This stunning azurite specimen from Morocco has a wonderful companion crystal: a terminated cerussite. This 2.5 x 1.5 x 1.0 cm specimen is a <u>competition grade</u> thumbnail. I really should have made the back the front and vice-versa because the cerussite is such a wonderful accent. The azurite's luster is extreme. I have been going to Tucson for over 30 years and every year check out all the azurites the Moroccan dealers have for sale. I have only seen a handful of thumbnails even approaching this quality. Victor Yount sold this to a friend of mine many years ago.
