I brought this piece back from Pakistan many years ago. I was told it was from a place close to "Chamachu" in the Haramosh Mountains in Pakistan. It is very similar in color to <u>some</u> of the better elbaites from Stak Nala. This piece is double terminated and without damage. One end is nearly achroic (without color) and the other is pink. The body of the crystal ranges from a green to a yellow green. As the piece rotates, the green gets much darker...this is because this piece has a closed c-axis, meaning it is much darker when you look down the length of the crystal compared to looking through the sides. This spectacular specimen measures 10.5 x 1 x 1.1 cm. There are many fewer double terminated elbaites of this size than you might think...
