Despite a couple of imperfections, this is a wonderful specimen of rose quartz. In fact, it is a smoky quartz on rose quartz <u>scepter</u>. I have never seen this before: an actual scepter of smoky on rose quartz. The largest smoky does have a conchoidal fracture out of the back face. And the quartz that juts left to right across the front has a small impact ding on one edge. Still, this is an impressive piece including some highly etched matrix. It measures 10 x 6 x 3.5 cm. The rose quartz is a little pinker in person. Note the rose quartz phantom inside the big smoky.
