This specimen can only have come from one locality in the world, Tsumeb, Namibia. It features three large, and many small, undamaged diopsides on white calcite. The color in the photo is not true...they are an emerald green in person. For technical reasons, it is notoriously difficult to accurately capture this color. The piece measures 3.5 x 3.0 x 2.0 cm. On the back, there is a small amount of grass green duftite. The largest dioptase is 5 or 6 mm long. A very sweet miniature!
